Girl Proves You Shouldn’t Believe Everything You See

By now, you’re probably aware that most of the photos posted on social media don’t represent the real life quite well. Everyone’s trying to give the impression that their lives are better than they actually are, especially the famous Instagrammers with millions of followers.

To raise awareness of this issue, 32-year-old travel blogger Carolyn Stritch decided to conduct an experiment, tricking her 190k followers. What was it all about?

“I came up with a story: my FaceApped perfect self, who’s ten years younger than I am, flies off to Disneyland for the day, and somehow manages to photograph herself all alone in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.”
