Artist Heesoo Lee forms intricate trees with detailed branches and leaves using multi-layered techniques. Careful choice of color allows him to translate specific seasonal moods in her works, from warm autumn leaves to cold, white winter.
As Lee says, she picks translucent porcelain “because of its beautiful clarity and color and is the perfect canvas for the bright underglaze and glazes [she] uses.”
