It Only Takes a Forest in Finland and Some Mushrooms for This Artwork…

(By @enkelikala)

Saara Alhopuro is a creative mind from Finland who has just recently started to get familiar with Scandinavian winters. She used to be a diving instructor, which means she would trade Finland’s winters for warm sea and ocean anytime. But the beautiful world she found in the woods made her change her mind.

In order to create masterpieces out of mushrooms, she needed to learn that she couldn’t have all the control. It takes her hours to find them and after she’s done with the shooting, there’s little time for fixing what she doesn’t like – the mushrooms are unusable as soon as the next day. “I guess it’s just natural – we dream about what we love,” Saara says.
