Summertime, and the livin’ is easy. And if living is easy, then Jesse Chamberlain Marble’s photos are a summer breeze. Full of sunshine, flowers, and pools, her pastel-colored photos have a hazy feel to them.
For Chamberlain Marble, photography is a second language that she learned early on. “The first photo I ever developed myself was back in the Pentax days,” she writes on her personal website. “I developed the photo in my bathtub. I was 12.”
“I find I don’t always have the right words to express myself,” admits the L.A based photographer. “Photography has single-handedly contributed to my ability to communicate with others because I can show people what I mean instead of trying to find the feeling in language.”
“So, you could say that photography is kind of like my superpower, really. My photos bring me into a realm of communication that bypasses the spoken word.”
Take a look.
