German photographer and computer science student Matthias Haker started traveling around Europe 10 years ago, taking photos as he goes.
One of his favorite subjects is abandoned buildings, and when you see the pictures below it will be clear why. His images bring life to the buildings that will otherwise look old and rotten. The lighting in the photos makes the image seem like a renaissance painting.
