Russian Artist Creates Intriguing Watercolor Portraits of Girls

Although often neglected in art, watercolors can be used to make great looking paintings. The proof for that are the works of Russian artist Julia Korpushova.

This Saint-Petersburg-based painter enjoys using watercolors as part of her creative process and often uses them to make stunning pieces of art incorporating all sorts of different themes. Her most notable works, however, belong to series “Watercolor girls.”

In this series, Julia paints intriguing and captivating watercolor portraits of girls. All her characters have something that sets them apart from each other, but they have one thing in common; they like flowers.
