Sam Pierpoint has fallen in love with the art of paper. “For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved working with paper,” she shared with Creative Boom. “I think it’s amazing how a piece of cardboard and a pen can fuel the imagination.”
Based in the rural countryside of the Mendip Hills, just south of Bristol UK, she directs, designs, cuts, and handcrafts all of her creations. She also regularly collaborates with talented designers, photographers, videographers, and production companies.
Her paper sculptures are used for a variety of different purposes ranging from advertising campaigns, set designs, packaging, and window displays.
“I’m doing lots of what I love best: making paper sculptures for advertising or awareness campaigns in the events, public relations, environmental and travel and tourism sectors,” she shared. “My work usually features in print, but sometimes my sculptures are displayed in their physical form, too.”
