Self-Taught Artist Creates Sculptures Using His Wife’s Kitchen Tools

Sculptor Vladimiras Nikonovas likes “borrowing” his wife’s kitchen tools and cookware and never giving them back. He shared his little secret on Bored Panda where he admitted that he is guilty of this mystery.

“When these cookware sets get into my workshop, they lose their primary purpose. They get involved in my artwork and get bored, as from now on, their only job is to serve beauty,” the Lithuanian artist revealed and explained that with his artwork he is “in constant search of the connection between inner and outer, shape and content, improvisational structures, and strictly built rational order.”

While browsing through his gallery, you will find a variety of sculptures, mostly animals, but he creates other creatures as well. He started his artistic journey back in the 1980s and his masterpieces have been seen by residents of his hometown Jonava.
