Spanish Artist Makes Funny Interventions in Public Spaces

Barcelona-based artist Octavi Serra recently presented his new series of works in which he made funny interventions in the public spaces in various cities including Jerusalem and Barcelona. Although humorous on the surface, these interventions also make powerful statements about the society we live in.

Serra makes all sorts of different references in his work, from our obsessions with smartphones to childhood games, leaving the viewer to discover the true meaning behind the interventions.
