Malaysian makeup artist Saraswati, otherwise known as queenofluna on Instagram, isn’t the first to incorporate her hijab into her cosplay, and after going viral, she’s certainly not going to be the last.
Saraswati is living proof that you don’t have to sacrifice your love for makeup and pop culture, among other things, just because you are devoted to your faith.
Using her makeup skills and creativity, Saraswati incorporates her hijab into her look, and the results speak for themselves.
From helping turn her into any Marvel character she pleases, to a Sailor Moon character, or even doubling as a lion’s mane or a substitute for her hair, Saraswati uses her hijab to her advantage while serving as an inspiration for women like her from all over the world.
