The Smithsonian Channel shared a video of a 10-month old baby monkey named Pip, trying to figure out how to climb a tall fig tree full with fruit as his mother lets him learn to be independent. The monkey, being hungry, decided it was time to learn how to climb right then and there. A few setbacks later and with a little help of a troop member, he finally reaches the top and finds his mom enjoying her snack, child-free.
