96-Year-Old Holocaust Survivor Joins Death Metal Band

They say you are never too old to start a new hobby!

Inge Ginsberg, a 96-year-old, Austrian-born woman and a Holocaust survivor fulfilled her childhood dream three years ago, by beaming the lead singer of a death metal bend.

After the second world war, she and her first husband, composer Otto Kollman, moved to the States where the couple began working for Hollywood. Despite all the glamour, in the late 1950s, Inge got fed up with everything, and soon after she left Los Angeles and divorced her husband.

Inge has been a writer her whole life, and according to her, she can’t carry a tune and that is the reason why she chose heavy metal, because “she just has to say the words”.

The Jewish grandma, writes the lyrics herself and her main topics are humanity,a environment, love, hatred and staying true to yourself, which poetry Inge shouts in English and German.
