A 46-Foot-Tall Minotaur Takes a Walk Through the Streets of Toulouse

Street theatre company La Machine had some impressive projects in the past, from giant dragon horse to 42-foot mech-spider, but their last might have put all of them to shame. The company recently presented their newest mechanical creation, a 46-foot-tall Minotaur that they took for a walk through Toulouse, France.

This performance was part of their multiday show Le Gardien du Temple, during which they also presented some of their other giant robot puppets. Despite weighing 10,000 pounds, Minotaure cruised down the labyrinth of the city’s streets thanks to the help of 17 operators.
