Ryn Frank’s fine line illustrations have a wholesome feeling to them. And god knows, we need all the wholesomeness we can get these days. Inspired by adventures, Botanics, the ocean, nature, old Victorian drawings, and slow living, Frank specializes in both hands drawn illustrations and typography.
With life imitating art and vice versa, Frank enjoys spending her time in her studio by the sea or walking with her dog, sketchbook in hand, taking inspiration from the countryside and coast where she lives.
A dreamer at heart, Frank would spend hours as a child doodling in the garden. “It was my way of getting lost very quickly into a different and somewhat magical world and I loved that,” she recalled in an interview with Freelance Wisdom.
“I’ve always wanted to do something different where I could be creative and have freedom in my work,” she went on to say. “My partner and I now run a creative design studio together which focuses on branding and illustration for a wide range of companies.”
