Self-taught artist Gal Shir is an expert at creating illustrations and design work and helping startups tell their story. People on social media love his work – he has over 330k followers on Instagram and over 160k on Youtube.
Shir shares videos of him drawing that the audience simply loves. The process of him creating complex illustrations from scratch is mesmerizing and never fails to amaze us. His main tools are his iPhone, iPad, pen and the apps Adobe Illustrator Draw and Procreate.
“He started working as a freelance designer from his parents basement at the age of 16, and his career took a flight after he moved to Tel Aviv,” his website reads. “There he worked with several creative studios, with Promo and other startups. For the past 3 years, Gal is leading the design at Lemonade, making home insurance a better experience. In addition, Gal is consulting and helping entrepreneurs establishing design thinking. He has given talks and workshops for companies and institutes such as Bezalel Academy.”
