Animator Turns Everyday Items into Quirky Characters

Sean Charmatz is San Diego-born animator whose work you have probably seen plenty of times without even realizing it. Charmatz worked six years as storyboard director, writer, and artist on popular animated show SpongeBob SquarePants while also working on several animated movies including Trolls and Penguins of Madagascar. The thing he enjoys the most, however, is The Secret World of Stuff project.

Through this amusing series of video and photos, Charmatz imagines how everyday items would act if they were alive. With just few interventions, which include giving them limbs and eyes, he manages to turn these items into quirky characters that look like they have a mind of their own. This results in entertaining content that will definitely make you smile.

Check out some of his works below.
