Artist Creates Amazing Optical Illusions With Photoshop

Monica Carvalho loves manipulating reality through her art. She takes her own photos and edits them so they acquire a whole new meaning.

While photographing, she tries to find connections between seemingly unrelated things. “I try to find similarities between photos in terms of color, texture and shape. For example, two mountain peaks I shot in Greece reminded me of an upper lip; a path in Oxford had the same color as my skin; a pouch zip evoked eyelashes,” she shared.

She also likes playing with sizes and the names of her creations. Enjoy her work below.
