Artist Uses Controversial Themes In His Illustrations

Elia Colombo, also known as Gebe, and gebelia on Instagram, is an Italian artist who combines his two major passions – graphic design and philosophy – to create thought-provoking artwork.

Through his colorful illustrations, Gebe openly speaks about controversial, but everyday topics, like social media, religion, and other things people are reluctant to talk about publicly.  He also mixes a dose of humor and irony into his art.

This freelance designer and illustrator’s work is full of simplicity, which results in a minimalistic and incredibly accurate satire in an image that will wake you up, and face the harsh reality of today’s world.
