It is amazing how beautiful things can be formed out
of crude materials. Gold, for instance, does not look attractive in its crude
state. However, when it has been taken through the due process, comes out shiny
and beautiful. The same way it is with certain materials used in forming some
art products.
AThe videos below show a female artist, carving out a bird from a clay product named Fimo clay. This is a brand of polymer clay, which is commonly used for modeling. This clay can be painted with Fimo paints or with acrylic and oil paints. A suitable pen can also be used for painting.
We see the different steps it took to create this eye-catching
piece. Just to mention, during the making process, she had to do some baking,
in case you’ll like to try it out. The Fimo clay requires that you bake it in a
standard oven or a toaster for about 30minutes at 130 degrees Celsius. This is
done so as to harden it, after which other things can follow, like cutting, painting,
slicing, and sanding. The bird looks really amazing, with the color gradient on
its wings and the different colors on it altogether.
