Artist Nate Anderson was so intrigued by the relationship between his newborn son Rowan and the family dog Murphy that he decided to dedicate a series of webcomics to it. In these adorable comics, titled Boy & Dog, Anderson shows how his son learns “lessons of life from the dog” which often turns out to be very humorous.
“My life was changed by this wiggly, squishy boy that filled my home with laughter and poop. ” – said Anderson about the beginnings of the comic. “The animals didn’t know what to think of him at first, but my Golden Retriever, Murphy, decided that he was pretty cool. Rowan loves the dog and would squeal with delight whenever Murphy was around him. I started to draw the comics to show what I imagined in my head was transpiring between them.”
