Man Trolls Neighborhood with Hilarious Fake Posters

With the rise of internet advertisement – and the fact that it’s easier to advertise your services or products you are selling on websites like Craigslist – posters are now slowly fading away. But Alan Wagner doesn’t see posters and ads of this kind as a relic of the past. In fact, he sees them as a perfect tool for his comedic aspirations.

Wagner decided to start creating hilarious fake posters that advertise unusual and sometimes bizarre services and products and put them all over his neighborhood.

“I knew I wasn’t sassy enough to make traditional memes. So I came up with the idea to make absurd stuff […] and act as though I just found it on the street.” – he said about this unusual project. “They’re inspired by anything I see or anything I might be thinking about. [Also] as someone who’s struggled with mental illness and never felt like they’ve fit in with what was considered “normal”, I want to attack normal.”

You can check out some of his fake posters and ads below.
