Dad Gets Inspired by Famous Paintings for His Baby Daughter’s First Photo Session

After welcoming his baby daughter Leticia into the world, Brazilian visual artist Lucas de Ouro knew he wanted to document her first days on Earth in a special way. This made him turn to classical art for inspiration.

In order to create unique memories for Leticia, de Ouro came up with a photo session that recreated some of the most famous paintings in the world of art. This included Leonardo Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa”, Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” and Frida Kahlo’s “Self-Portrait Dedicated to Dr. Eloesser”.

The photo shooting had Leticia dressed in appropriate costumes, while de Ouro also made sure to pay attention to details like accessories and background. As you can see, the results were both innovative and adorable. How did he come up with this idea?

Despite being less than a month old when the session took place, Leticia proved to be a patient model, and the project was a full success. It captured the feel of the iconic works while also giving them a heartwarming note.
