The Italian photographers Emanuela Colombo and Mario Forcherio started photographing people with dogs back in 2009, with the mission to show how special their bond is. Dogs and Us Photography is a series they created with adorable images that capture all the emotions between humans and their best friends – dogs.
“We have witnessed carousels of joy, fear, exuberance, gratitude, doubt, anger, amazement, patience and resignation,” the two photographers shared on Bored Panda. “Their faces turn into faces with human expressions, which we only need a small dose of sensitivity in order to read, and they become open books.”
Thanks to their skills and a decade-long experience, they’re able to recognize emotions in dogs in just a second, and quickly capture all of that on camera. The results are charming and you can see them on their social media.
