An 84-year-old grandma from New Jersey who goes by the name Nonna Pia is the new TikTok’s cooking sensation. This adorable granny became popular thanks to clips that show her cooking traditional Italian dishes while sharing recipes and cooking tips along the way.

Nonna Pia, who grew up in Rome before moving to the United States in the ’50s, always enjoyed making all sorts of mouthwatering dishes for her big family. This prompted her grandson Antonio to start sharing some of her kitchen creations on social media in early 2020.
It didn’t take long for internet users to catch up, as Nonna Pia’s TikTok account already has 2.4 million followers, with the number steadily increasing. Her clips, recorded and posted by Antonio, were liked more than 25 million times. The most popular video, in which Pia makes fresh homemade bread, was watched an astonishing 35 million times.
