Light Installation Gives Us a Tour Around the Universe

French artist Joanie Lemercier’s work focuses primarily on projects of light in space and its effect on our perception.

One of his recent installations is “Constellations,” in which light is projected on invisible water particles to create shapes and ethereal structures in the air. It explores the vastness of our universe through the presentation of geometric shapes and glowing orbs.

“With Constellations, the environment becomes a gate for the exploration of the cosmos. The 3D like visuals will allow us to move from the heart of a black hole into deep space, traveling through planets and stars, as we look for the limits of the universe,” reads the website.

This project will be exhibited in light festivals and public spaces around the world.
