Pop Culture Has been Rocking the 2019 Pantone Color of the Year Before it Was Cool

Many people are anxiously waiting for 2018 to be over so they can start all over in 2019. As we’re coming to its end, the 2019 Pantone Color of the Year has been selected, and the winner is Living Coral.

The executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, describes it as “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.” According to her, the shade named after a vital sea organism will “help feed our innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits.”

Just for fun, we picked several well-known pop culture examples who rocked the Living Coral shade before it was pronounced Color of the Year.
