Logan Moody is a 37-year-old stencil artist, urban photographer, and video maker. The New Zealand-born, now Melbourne, Australia-based Moody showed interest in art from an early age, however, his real artistic journey began in 2006 when he began actively creating art and photography with single layer stencils.
“I’ve been working on a new series of paintings, these are made from hand cut stencils and aerosol, painted on wood,” the artist shared with Bored Panda. I have finished 5 at the moment, and am working on the 6th now with the hopes of doing a showcase later in the year.”
According to Blue Thumb, since moving to Australia, Moody has been chosen multiple times as a finalist in the Stencil Art Prize, an annual showcase of international stencil artists held each year in Sydney. He has also published a book of photography and taken part in numerous group shows.
