The cat trio Mugi, Nyaa, and Maru are a social media sensation. Why you may wonder? Well because they wear hats, but not ordinary, everyday hats. Their headpieces are made from fallen cat fur.
Ryo Yamazaki and his wife Hiromi Yamazaki from Tokyo, Japan went viral when the hashtag #trumpyourcat started trending on the Instagram during the 2016 U.S. presidential elections.
Ryo, also known as rojiman, is in charge of the photography while his wife mastered the hat making. Mugi, the wheat-colored one, Nyaa the grey beauty and Maru the pure white kitty, they all wear hats that look like rabbit ears, panda face, seashell or Trump’s hair, and they don’t even seem to mind.
