This Is What Happens When Superheroes and Villans Sell Out

You may have heard about Lesya Guseva and her Pensioners illustration series, where she portrayed cartoon characters and superheroes as they grow old and retire. In her newest project, the Russian illustrator created fictional ads with well-known pop icons.

From Clark Kent being the ambassador of Calvin Klein panties and Venom promoting toothpaste to Aquaman advertising Head & Shoulders shampoo and Batman a fabric softener.

“This drawing series is for fun, just imagining well-known superheroes being ambassadors of some brands,” Guseva shared on her Instagram page where she received much positive feedback for her work.

This bad guy knows lots more about cool cosmetics than we do! Which lipstick is the most lasting, which shadows do not crease, and which foundation is superlong wearing… I think that any cosmetic company would kill to have him 🙂 Especially such top one like Urban Decay (OMG, girls, have you seen their limited Game of Thrones edition 😭😭😭 want it badly) This drawing series is for fun, just imagining well known superheroes being ambassadors of some brands. .
