Woman Buys a Fertilized Bird Embryo at a Restaurant – and Raises it

Daisy the Duck was born under a lucky star. Instead of being eaten, she lives a full life as someone’s pet.

In Vietnam, people eat balut, fertilized bird embryos, as a snack. Erica Lim bought a fertilized duck egg at a Vietnamese coffee shop in Puchong, Selangor, however, instead of eating it, she decided to take it home.

She put the egg inside a home-made incubator, and two weeks later, Daisy, the duckling was born, and Erica became a mother.

With each day, Daisy become cuter and cuter, so her owner decided to capture her hilarious adventures, so she opened an Instagram account called daily_daisy_duck.
