Check Out Why All Henna Lovers Adore This Instagram Account

If you are interested in tattoos but still aren’t sure you would ever get one, perhaps you should try henna instead. No needles are required when decorating your body with this ,aterial—All you need is a little piping bag and henna paste.

This vegetable dye is a mixture of henna powder coming from a plant with the same name and other ingredients, like water or tea. There are many great Henna artists out there, but today we are introducing you to one of the most talented ones. Her name is Gopi Henna, and she is from San Diego, California.

Scrolling through Instagram, we came across her profile, where she posts images and videos of her beautiful art. Flowers, moons, mandalas, etc., are just some of the drawings she makes.  Last year she made a trip to India, where she found more inspiration from astonishing décor.

To decorate other people’s bodies, Gopi uses the highest quality henna, which she makes herself. Besides working in her city, she also accepts requirements for events outside of southern California.

To see her hennas, check out the images below. Don’t forget to give her alike!

I’ve had a lot of these photos in my phone archives for a few years now! ? The first one was before burning man when I lived in LA (for that really short period of time ?) and the second, third, and fourth were from EID a couple years ago when I was in north park, and the following are some of my lovely repeat customers! ??? Let me know if you see yourself and I can tag you (I’m bad at remembering usernames)! ? . Sometimes darker skin tones can be a bit under represented in our henna feeds but as you can see from a couple of these photos, henna stains beautifully well on darker skin tones too! I always keep stain photos to show my clients and those who may walk up to my booth wondering if it will show, but with good aftercare henna looks just as great as on lighter skin tones! ? I do always like to have Jagua gel on hand too though since many of my clients regardless like the look for the Jagua as opposed to henna ?? . And lastly I just want to repeat I’m still here, listening, reading and been looking deep in myself to see how I can be better towards my fellow humans! #blm and if you’re still looking for a place to donate the last photo is for you! ?? . . . #henna #hennaart #hennadesign #hennaisneverblack #hennainspire #henna_i #hennapro #hennaartist #tattooart #tattoostyle #sandiegoart #sandiegoartist #bridalmehndi #mehndi #tattooartwork #gypsysoul #instaart #instahenna #eidhenna #instadraw #sandiegohenna #instagood #seaportvillage #festivalfashion #festivalready #hennadesigns #downtownsd #jagua
