If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s the fragility of the day to day and how important it is to live life to the fullest. Traveling duo, Marie Fe and Jake Snow, have lived by this simple truth for a while. Known for their envious lifestyle and gorgeous travel photos, the two grab life by the horns.
“The sun will always rise and set regardless,” they wrote on a recent Instagram post, “BUT what we choose to do with the light while it’s with us is what makes our lives special.” Describing themselves as “designers of their own lives”, they stress the importance of designing your life consciously. “Just like how we design and edit our photos, we can design and edit our lives!” they write. “We can add more brightness and color to our days! We can surround ourselves with more vibrant people! We can decrease the shadows that are blocking our light. We can create a life saturated with happiness!”
The inspiring, and very much Instagramable couple, crossed paths by chance (with Fe hailing from Germany and Snow originally from South Australia) while traveling, and have become a powerhouse ever since.
Over the years, they have traveled the world and seen the most beautiful places, met the happiest people, and discovered new ways of living. Through their experiences, they’ve been able to collect the tools they needed to design a dream lifestyle.
Now they hope to spread their inspiring message to other through their blog and Instagram. “Are you currently consciously designing your life the way you want it to look like?” they ask their one million followers. It’s a question worth asking.
