Needle Felting Artist Creates Endangered Animals

Needle felting artist Irina Artwin likes to say that she breathes life into clouds of wool. The Hrodna, Belarus-based crafter makes various animal and bird sculptures from wool, specializing in rare and endangered species.

“How could rare and endangered animals be brought back to life with the help of just a needle?” Artwin shared with Bored Panda. “My felting needle is my magic wand. I make various animal and bird sculptures from wool. I felt wild jaguars, cute pandas, severe dragons, dogs and even hens. Most of them are created for private collections.”

The artist shares her work on her Instagram account and on her Etsy store where you can buy some of her creations.
