Louise Cassidy is a paper and digital artist who loves creating paper characters from films and TV shows. She started doing origami 3 years ago and discovered that she could combine this with pop culture.

Her mind always wanders into how she could recreate these characters. She uses various paper techniques such as origami, paper cutting and crumpling to make her creations.

According to Cassidy, the most difficult part is making the character recognizable in their 1-inch structure. So she makes sure they have the right detail such as the height of Egon Spengler’s hair or they way she photographs Deadpool to capture his confident stance. These models can take from 30 minutes to a couple of hours to complete.
