The smell of old books, the sense of calm, and most importantly, impressive varieties of titles to choose from make libraries a special place for book lovers. This is what inspired photographer Massimo Listri to visit some of the most beautiful libraries in the world and treat us with some of the photographs.
During his travels, Listri visited several countries including France, Austria, and Italy, capturing astonishing photographs of libraries built in various styles including classical, Rococo, and Baroque. His works were compiled into a book titled The World’s Most Beautiful Libraries and published by Taschen.
