Mimi Choi is a 33-year-old professional makeup artist from Vancouver, Canada whose creations will take your breath away. She does mind-blowing hyper-real optical illusions on her face and body.
From sushi and ramen bowls, sliced face, to multiple eyes and lips, this Chinese-born seeks inspiration from various sources. This includes patterns and textures from her surroundings, photoshopped digital art, and surreal paintings from artists such as Salvador Dali.
In 2013, Choi was still a preschool teacher, when she discovered her passion for makeup. Nowadays, Mimi has her own makeup palette, over 870,000 Instagram followers and instructs at Blanche Macdonald Makeup, Fashion and Beauty School where she leads various masterclasses and demonstrates her iconic looks.
