French photographer Sacha Goldberger recently came up with a really intriguing idea to show how comic superheroes would look like if they lived during the Renaissance period.
After realizing that tools like Photoshop won’t do the trick, Goldberger decided to have models dress up in 16th century-styled superhero costumes and then pose in poses that were common for the portraits of this era. This led to “Super Flamands” photo series, which features an array of superhero characters, from Iron Man to Batman, presented in a way you would never imagine them.
