Peter Csakvari is a Hungarian journalist, chef, and food photographer best known for his “Tiny Wasteland” project where miniatures meet with real size objects creating the illusion of a microscopic world.

This Budapest-based artist has been working on his project for over two years now and has made more than a hundred tiny little worlds.

His story began several years ago on a little island called Herm. The weather was so bad that he was forced to stay indoors most of the times. Peter eventually got bored and was the moment when his “Tiny Wasteland” was born.

The stories range in locations such as Hungarian salami and sushi roll to pineapple and include a variety of different miniature characters.
