Conan Rents a Family in Japan

TBS’ late-night host Conan O’Brien visited Japan last week and decided to explore the ways the Japanese deal with one of their greatest problems – loneliness. “There are companies throughout Japan that provide fake families for people who are lonely,” Conan informs us. To show us what it’s like, he rented a fake family for himself.

First, Conan visited the agent who’d help him find a temporary family. After a little bit negotiating, he managed to get a perfect family for himself, including a dad who doesn’t already look disappointed in him.
