Soo Min Kim is an illustrator from Seoul, South Korea who transforms the iconic mermaid on Starbucks’s paper coffee cups into a fun and fantastic characters.
The young artist has been doing his project for a couple of years now, where he kidnaps the siren and places her into everyday situations. She has been made into a waitress, a burglar, a robot and even a Beatles character.
Kim uses both markers and paints to make his remarkable work, however, the green and white theme remains the same.
