Marie Troitskaia bakes delicious pastry that not only brings a feast to the stomachs of a lucky few, but the cakes that she bakes are a feast for the eye as well.
The Moscow-based architect and pastry chef has been creating architectural cakes and gingerbread houses for 7 years now. Recently, she made a gingerbread house of Notre Dame de Paris.
“This year, I decided to make a model of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on a scale of 1:300. It took me 5 days: material search, drawings, sketches, dough preparation, baking, and assembly,” the pastry chef shared on Bored Panda. “I have a lot of bruises and caramel burns. But my family is so happy!”
She says that her dream for 2020 is to open her own architectural pastry shop in Paris. Let’s hope she fulfills her dreams!
Until then, you can follow her creations on Instagram and Facebook, or have a look at her website.
