Steeven Salvat is a French artist who creates enchanting drawings of the world where animals and machinery live together. His latest project, Perchés, shows different bird breeds standing on antique objects like typewriters and sewing machines.
“I wanted to highlight the contrasts between lightness and brutality, the fragility of nature and immortality of objects,” the artist says.
Salvat website reads, “I create artworks with a hatching technique, using black ink, Rotring pens, a lot of lines and hundreds of hours.” Such a devotion is necessary for this magnificent-looking artwork.
