You Can Spend the Night In This House, Made Entirely of Chocolate

Remember the amazing candy house (munis the witch) from Hansel & Gretel? Well, it is now a reality.

Renowned chocolatier Jean-Luc Decluzeau decided to design and manufacture a house which is entirely made of chocolate. Everything in this house, which was nicknamed ‘The Chocolate Cottage’, is built from chocolate, including the walls, roof, fireplace, and bookcase. In order to build this 194-square-foot delicious construction, Decluzeau used approximately 1.5 tonnes of chocolate.

But this isn’t the best part. Thanks to Booking.com, several lucky visitors received a chance to spend the night in The Chocolate Cottage and learn few tricks from Jean-Luc Decluzeau about making chocolate treats.

“I never thought I’d have the opportunity to build a life-size Chocolate Cottage for travelers to sleep in!” said Decluzeau. “I’m excited to collaborate with Booking.com and to share my passion for chocolate. I hope guests will relish the chance to experience such a sweet and unique place to stay.”
