Owning a beach house where you would spend sunny summer days is the dream, right? Anti Reality, An imaginative Instagram page for architecture lovers, created an interesting solution for a perfect house with a pool on its roof.
Anti Reality designed an 85-square-meter large building, ideally named ‘Summer House’. What’s unique about this house is its concave roof, that can be used as a swimming pool.
“My goal was to create a reverse version of a roof that can be adapted as a swimming pool”, explained the person behind Anti Reality to Bored Panda. “The roof structure is supported by 3 cores, two of them are the kitchen and bathroom, and this is where I was planning to adapt drainage pipes. It’s very idealistic but there is a logic behind the concept”.
The house is located on a rocky shore, near the sea, and we can only guess that the view from the roof or swimming pool must be mesmerizing.
Anti Reality is known for its futuristic and imaginative designs and we can only hope that some of them, like this one for example, will one day become a reality.
