Masayoshi Matsumoto is a Japanese artist who specializes in the almost forgotten art of balloon modeling. Although the “balloon twisters” are rarely seen in their usual surroundings (like circuses and fairs), Matsumoto decided to try and popularize this unique craft.
He shares his unique balloon creations, inspired by animals and insects, on his Instagram profile, and has received a warm response from his followers. It is important to note that Matsumoto’s only material are balloons and that he doesn’t use adhesive, marker pen, or anything similar. Let’s check some of his works below.
