James and I are learning Italian, and normally we do it during breakfast. I obnoxiously repeat things like, "the boy wants to eat" and James gets mad because he is not having his face shovelled with food. Any day now he will be saying, "mangia, mangia, il bambino mangia!!" 🍴 🇮🇹

I finally cut James' very unruly hair, and somehow managed to keep his ears intact. Giving him a forbidden item definitely helped keep his attention elsewhere (in this case the remote control). 😅✂️

🌟 FIRST PANTIES 🌟 We bought James his first pair of underwear with cute little trucks on it. But the sizing is way off so they just end up sliding off his tiny bum. 😅 also am I bad #boymom for calling them panties??

The first thing I noticed getting bigger on James were his hands. I would spend hours studying his tiny fingers as he nursed and nursed and nursed and nursed. My finger would look so big clasped inside his tiny hands, then all of a sudden one day I noticed how he was able to wrap his fingers all the way around. Newborns are so // t i n y // snuggled up in your arms, then one year later they get so loooong and big. And yet, they still manage to fit perfectly in your arms. My little baby, forever. 💕

SICK!! 😣😣 feeling all sorts of awful and it's all James' fault. Now I'm stuck lying on the couch like a dead potato. James was the first to get sick in our house, but still seems to have lots of energy for crawling on me like a monkey. 🐒

Hi guys and happy 2018! 👋 I'm finally back into action after a super long hiatus. Does anyone else go into teenage mode when they visit their parents? I got to pass off all the baby responsibilities on them (and of course they loved being super adoring grandparents), which gave me a lot of time to just relax and be a sloth and not have to worry about any adult business! But now Christmas is over and the new year is in full swing, so it's time to finally dust off my sketchbook and make some new content! But hey, cut me a little slack — it's the first Monday back after the holidays. So this is a drawing I did a couple weeks back for Christmas cards. 😅 #lazydontcare

James is in LOVE with cars lately (or all things trains, planes and automobiles). So it only felt right to draw him in a little car. 🚗 also he's looking more and more like a little boy in real life but also in my drawings. 😭😭 #babiesdontkeep

For my birthday my mom got me a #meitai from #fidella and I gotta say, I am so in love. 😍Insanely soft and so so comfortable. #Babywearing is so near and dear to my heart, that I felt gutted when I decided to stop after James turned 1 year old. I thought he was too heavy to be worn, but I actually just hadn't found the carrier that worked for us!! One year later and I'm back on the baby wearing band wagon with my now 12kg toddler and I couldn't be happier!! 😍😍
