Chris Lind describes himself as a part-time traveler, photographer, beer lover and adventurer from a small town in southern Norway. He often finds himself drawn to places where no-one, or at least few people, considers going to. In one of his latest travels, he visited western Turkmenistan’s natural beauty, the Yangykala Canyon.
“A vast rock landscape with rock walls as tall as 60-100 meters colored with pink, red and yellow colors. A landscape that was created more than 5.5 million years ago, when the red cliffs wall you know see, where underwater limestone walls full of massive coral reefs from the pre-historical Parathetys Sea,” Lind wrote on Bored Panda.
The photographer shares his images on his Instagram account called unusualtraveler where he has attracted over 33.4k followers.
